Desktop License
For finished print and digital artwork. Choose a Desktop package based on the number of devices.
Solo: up to 3 devices. Studio: up to 15 devices.
Company: unlimited devices.
01 License grant
Your purchase grants the licensed users permission to install and use the font software to create finished designs within the recorded scope. Ownership of the font software remains with its rights holder; purchasing a license does not transfer ownership.
02 Users & installation
Solo permits installation on up to 3 devices. Studio permits installation on up to 15 devices. Company permits installation on unlimited devices. Choose a package covering your installations before exceeding its device limit.
03 Permitted use
Create print materials, packaging, presentations and documents. You may also create static social media or advertising graphics. Logo or wordmark use requires a separate Logo / Brand License. Deliver finished artwork as images, outlines or other non-editable output that does not expose the font files.
04 Sharing & client handoff
Do not share or distribute the font files to unlicensed colleagues, clients or third parties. A client who needs to edit a design using the fonts must obtain their own license. Share finished artwork rather than the font software.
05 Uses outside this license
Web or app embedding and editable templates require separate permission. Merchandise and broadcast uses require a scope review. Do not publicly distribute font files. Logo or wordmark use requires a separate Logo / Brand License. Static social graphics and static advertising images are covered by Desktop; dynamic embedded ads require Digital Ads permission.
06 Font files & ownership
Do not resell, sublicense or redistribute the font software, or make it available as a standalone download. Any permission to modify the software or use it beyond the purchased scope must be confirmed in writing.
07 Your order & custom agreements
Your order records the font family, styles and Desktop package you purchased. Keep your order confirmation as proof of license. Any agreed custom scope must be documented in a written agreement with Magnatype.
Web Font License
Display live text on one named website using web font files. Subdomains for that same website and private staging are included; unrelated domains are not. There is no traffic limit.

Embed fonts inside HTML5 or dynamic advertising creative for an agreed advertiser and campaign. A static advertising image is already covered by Desktop.

Limits
Only the campaign, channels, and period stated in your agreement are covered.

Social Media — Included with Desktop
Choose Desktop for finished static social graphics, including organic posts and static advertising images. You do not need an additional Social Media license for these outputs. Editable templates, video and specialised publishing workflows require a scope review.
